The first C-FLY Ocean version will be a 21m hydrofoil trimaran. It uses the very latest hydrofoil technology developed by the C-FLY team, and state-of-the-art materials to create the ultimate transatlantic ocean racer.

To reduce costs and development time C-FLY Ocean uses well proven rig and hull design from established performance multi-hulls such as the ORMA 60s.  For safety the craft is able to withstand damage to or loss of the hydrofoils and is designed to perform well in hull borne mode if conditions dictate.

The boat overall will deliver exceptional stability and remarkable speeds in ocean conditions, exceeding the performance of even significantly larger multi-hulls.  C-FLY Ocean is within reach of the ultimate goal of being the first sailing craft to fly on hydrofoils across the Atlantic and to break the current crossing record.

Very innovative the rotating bow section to change to foiling mode. Will be the first ocean going foiler and good luck with it. Cheers!

We believe we have the step change required to set remarkable new offshore records! The foil system acts like suspension which greatly reduces the fatigue on both crew and boat. We can therefore keep the ‘pedal to the metal’ and sustain very high average speeds, in most conditions. Of course, with the foils raised we can press on, at speed, in light airs. Thanks for your interest, Philip
