The Team: Mark Kirby
Mark trained as an engineer with Rolls-Royce Aero Engines. He went on to become Managing Director of his own high tech manufacturing company, servicing the aerospace, automotive and marine sectors. He has advised and supported the C-FLY project on manufacturing methods and machining for the hydrofoils.
His passion is flying, owning a twin engine Beechcraft and a seaplane. His flying and marine interests often come together, for example his company designed and developed a composite seaplane float system to replace existing aluminium floats.
